Reno Machine is actively searching for an experienced CNC 3/5-Axis Machinist to join our team. As a CNC 3/5-AxisMachinist, you will be responsible for setting-up, adjusting and operating a variety of large format machines per op-sheets and blueprints with little to no supervision while maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records and maintaining equipment supplies. Machine parts may have multiple shapes with steps, profiles, tolerances of plus or minus .001 or have multiple OD and ID threads.Duties:Interpret schematics and CAD drawingsSet up and operate per op-sheets and blueprints in a job shop environmentInspect the finished product for accuracy per blueprints and setup sheetsMaintain your machine and troubleshoot issuesReport any major issues to management or the design teamHandle materials appropriately and safelyQualifications:High school diploma or GED certificateFive years of experience in operating CNC machinesAbility to read and understand blueprints and job process routing sheetsAbility to read, write and edit simple programsVocational certificate (preferred)Experience with CNC machinesStrong analytical abilities with excellent problem-solving skillsGood math and communication skillsMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Overtime is availableDAY OR NIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE!
