They are looking for Sr. Network Engineer who is interested in large scale challenges and excited to work with a collaborative team of Network Engineering professionals. The right person to perform maintenance and work on innovative projects in a large cutting-edge SD-WAN environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures.
- Assist with installation, optimization, and support of networks routers and switches (Cisco Catalyst 3XXX, 9XXX, 6500, 6800 & Nexus Switches) & (Experience working with Cisco 4XXX & 1100 Series Routers).
- Manage Global network projects, leading a lean team of onshore engineers.
- Work with alert management and other IT groups when issues arise to minimize client productivity loss caused by technology outages and provide necessary infrastructure for the clients to meet their business needs
- Coordinate and direct daily ticket triage meetings with Network Operation peers. Ensure the timely distribution and completion of both incident and request tickets
- Create thorough reports and documentation of all incidents and procedures, present findings to team and leadership on a routine basis
- Validate IT infrastructure, applications, and other reference architectures for security best practices, and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risks where applicable
- Continuously monitoring cloud and enterprise security operations; responding to and resolving security issues
Minimum Experience:
- At least 5 years' experience designing, implementing, and maintaining voice-capable TCP/IP networks using Cisco or other enterprise-class equipment
- Exposure to Cisco VoIP
- Experience working on enterprise Ethernet, VLANs, QOS, routing, switching, and IP addressing
- Experience working with carrier technologies including T1/E1/PRI, ISDN, MPLS, metro Ethernet and systems interconnectivity
- Experience installing, managing, upgrading and troubleshooting enterprise-class voice systems specifically Cisco Unified Communication technologies including a significant remote user base
- Hands-on experience with any of the following network platforms: Cube, Cisco Call Manager and Unity, Palo Alto Firewalls, Spectrum, ServiceNow
Nice to have:
- Design implementation of advanced voice technologies such as carrier SIP trucking, and CUBE
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) highly valued
- Experience Working with Cisco Catalyst 3XXX, 9XXX, 6500, 6800 & Nexus Switches, highly valued
- Experience working with Cisco 4XXX & 1100 Series Routers
