Vallum is working with one of our large engineering clients that is looking to hire for their South Jersey office . Working within their Solar Engineering team they have delivered 6.5 GW worth of solar and energy management services across 50 states in the last 20 years .
They are looking for a PV Engineer with experience working on C&I or Community Solar projects that is interested to join a dynamic team of fellow engineers and work on some of the most interesting and innovative projects.

Responsibilities:
- Able complete the following engineering tasks with minimal guidance:
- Design drafting of electrical construction documents using AutoCAD
- Electrical distribution design and single line preparation
- Solar photovoltaic design
- Voltage calculations and conductor / raceway sizing
- Detailed PV Syst calculations
- Utility coordination
- Code review
- Preparation of specifications
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience in electrical engineering of photovoltaic systems
- BS in Engineering (preferably Electrical) is preferred but not required as the expectations is that the candidate can use electrical engineering principles to complete the work.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality construction documents working in a production and design role, achieving satisfaction from Senior staff.
- Strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of software
- Computer proficiency, strong in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as production related software (ETAP, PV Syst) and equipment
