Job Description
Location-Balltown Road Schenectady NY 12304
currently 50% onsite - 2 days one week and 3 the following week
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Expert 84+ Months
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Secondary Qualifications:
84 months ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) experience creating SQL Server SSIS objects
84 months SQL Server Programming; views, stored procedures, and functions.
60 months of experience in Data Warehousing.
60 months experience with OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing).
Day to day tasks include:
Use Microsoft Visual Studio to create and maintain SSIS packages and projects.
Extract data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, flat files, or APIs.
Create and maintain database stored procedures and functions.
Contribute to the design of a data warehouse architecture that supports data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
Optimize query performance by creating indexes.
Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.
