EMC Storage Engineer

CBTS is currently seeking an EMC Storage Engineer for a position located in Columbus, OH.

Job Description:

• Troubleshoot technical issues, researching solutions and tracking problems to resolution.
• Manage storage and SAN capacity ensuring the continuous delivery of storage to the businesses. Analyze storage utilization and forecast capacity needs.
• Oversee installation and configuration of new storage devices, working with other teams as needed to facilitate the installation.
• Assist and/or manage implementation of new environments specifically within the scope of storage related activities
• Develop and maintain SOPs and other documentation used to manage the storage environment.

Experience:

• Experience working with EMC Clariion, VMAX, Avamar, Centerra, and vendor storage management tools such as EMC Control Center, Navisphere and Hitachi HiCommand.
• Strong understanding of storage concepts, RAID layout, Storage and SAN technologies
