Job Description:
The job includes, but is not limited to:
- Minimum 15 – 20 years of field experience.
- Graduate of an excellent University, minimum in Civil Engineering or Equivalent.
- Very strong leading personality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in erection of Petrochemical Plant, Gas Compression Plant, Refinery work, Power Station, Power Plants, and Tank erection work.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction of large Petrochemical and industrial projects.
- Run field construction, reporting directly to the Construction Manager / Project Manager and maintaining day-to-day contact with them to identify and resolve any problems.
- Proper implementation of schedules.
- Direct and lead Section Engineers, General Foremen, Foremen, and their multinational Indian/ Pakistani/ Filipino crews in the field.
- Coordinate work amongst various disciplines.
- Plan, deploy, and utilize plant and equipment efficiently.
- Ensure that construction crews are supplied with enough information, drawings, sketches, materials, and consumables to meet or improve target dates.
- Implement safety plan and ensure the highest level of safety to Client’s requirements.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC Engineer and ensure proper implementation of the QA/QC plan.
- Ensure efficiency and good productivity of the working crews.
- Ensure implementation of stores logistics, coordination of project materials, transport, etc.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure implementation of all steps to prepare systems for pre-commissioning and start-up.
- Implement the contractual scope of work and ensure implementation of the Change Orders system with the Client.
- Ensure smooth interfacing with other subcontractors and contractors on the job.
