Geotechnical Engineer M/F

Job Description:

1. The person shall have a background and qualifications in the design and analysis of underground metro & tunnel projects.
2. He/she will be a part of Egis design team, playing a key role in delivering projects.
3. The main responsibilities include:
   1. Experience in finite element modeling of TBM tunnels and Cross passages will be a plus.
   2. Calculation of retaining structures such as diaphragm walls, soldier piles, micropiles walls, secant piles, CB piles, other types of retaining walls.
   3. Construction stage analysis of an underground station box in the finite element method (Plaxis 2D and 3D).
   4. Service stage 3D modeling of an underground station including seismic loading in software like STAAD Pro, SCIA, etc.
   5. Performing different safety checks of an underground station design like Floatation, Toe stability, Base heaving, Bearing capacity, etc.
   6. Design of Diaphragm wall, station slabs, Entry Exit, etc.
   7. Design of Pile and column of an underground station in software like Oasys Adsec.
   8. Understand the interpretation of geotechnical parameters and use of these parameters in modeling.
   9. Good understanding of drawings (GA Drawing and Reinforcement drawing) and meticulous checking of drawings.
   10. Interact and understand customers' needs and expectations to enable the effective delivery of quality services.
   11. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
