CNC Machinist & Programmer - Mazak 5-Axis Expert Location: Brookshire, TX

Key Responsibilities:
- Program & Operate: Expertly program, set up, and operate CNC machines (Mazak 5-Axis) to ensure high-efficiency production and precision in every project.
- Interpret Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret complex fabrication drawings and customer specifications, applying sound engineering principles to meet exacting requirements.
- Optimize Production: Choose the right cutting tools and set precise speeds to maximize quality while minimizing material waste.
- Quality Control: Monitor the machining process closely, inspecting parts visually and ensuring all pieces meet our rigorous inspection standards.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot machines to ensure smooth operation, identifying and addressing issues quickly to prevent delays.
- Manage Materials: Organize materials by job, ensuring proper identification and availability for upcoming production needs.
- Adapt to Demands: Efficiently transition between multiple jobs, prioritizing based on deadlines and production needs while maintaining high-quality output.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the production manager and team to meet tight deadlines and production goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on CNC machining experience, with significant expertise in programming, editing, and running Mazak 5-Axis machines.
- Technical Expertise: Strong ability to read and interpret complex fabrication drawings, perform precise measurements, and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Problem-Solving: Sharp troubleshooting skills to quickly address machine issues and maintain efficient production.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a high-pace environment.
- Team-Oriented: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on safety and teamwork.
