Electrical Engineer

Opportunity

We are looking for an electrical engineer to help develop our electronics. This includes tasks like testing sensors, designing PCBs, writing firmware and developing algorithms for processing the data coming out of the sensors. We have built a device that equipped with a camera, laser, solar panel and a 4G modem can capture photos on the road. It not only allows drivers to pay tolls without requiring a tag on the windshield of their cars but it also detects safety hazards. You can see a 3D version of our device here .

What we offer

• Annual salary between $125,000 and $165,000 depending on experience, significant package of stock options and top tier health insurance.
• Four weeks of vacation per year. We actually push you to take them!
• At the office lunch and snacks are on us.

You are a good fit if you:

• Love prototyping and have significant experience designing and integrating electronics.
• Love getting your hands dirty (soldering, drilling, milling, etc).
• Code really well. We don’t care much which language you are the most proficient in as long as you can learn fast. We mostly use Python.
• Can come to work at our office in South Denver at least four days a week.
• Excel at solving hard problems and take full ownership of them. We expect you to figure out whatever you need to get stuff done.
• Have incredible eye for detail.

Nice to have:

• You have worked at a fast-paced startup before.
• You have significant experience with Altium.
