Overview:
Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, Mead & Hunt is looking for a Professional Engineer to join our transportation group. This opportunity is available in our Denver, Colorado office location.
Responsibilities:
- May serve as a project engineer, technical resource, and/or project manager
- Prepares engineering and design documents, computations, and quantity estimates
- Prepares, analyzes and/or modifies reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects
- Develops construction cost estimates for projects
- Prepares and monitors budgets for specific tasks within assigned projects
- Responsible for timely completion of specific tasks within assigned projects
- May direct or supervise other project staff's activities/Mentor
- Performs quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual
- Visits project sites to monitor progress and handles routine construction administration
- Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
- Attends client meetings
- Other duties as assigned
A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university AND a minimum of four (4) years related experience. Professional Engineering License required.

Salary Range: $85,000 to $115,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as experience, skill set or location.
