My client specializes in manufacturing car and truck floor mats using injection molding technology. As a global company with multiple locations in Illinois and a facility in Europe, they invest in what matters most, including a state-of-the-art facility (complete with a high-end robotic coffee maker!). Despite their advanced operations, they maintain a casual work environment, where even the CEO is often seen in jeans and a sweatshirt.
Job Description

• Maintain consistent compliance with IATF 16949
• Lead cross-functional teams to create and update Process Control Plans/Manufacturing Process Plans, FMEAs, and Process Masters
• Initiate and coordinate follow-up activity on Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAR/PAR)
• Coordinate activity related to Claims and Non-Conforming Product including processing the required internal and external documentation
• Review Material Test Reports for compliance to order specifications and submit to customers
• Log quality related data such as nonconformances and first pass quality into QA databases
• Generate quality reports and update monthly key performance indicators (KPI) data
• Prepare First Article/Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submission packages
• Perform Internal Quality Audits in conformance with IATF 16949
• Coordinate supplier quality activity including supplier quality audits and surveys

The Successful Applicant

• Background in the automotive industry
• Exposure to IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001 QMS
• Injection molding experience
• PPAP experience
• Auditing experience
• Experience handling customer complaints
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Sponsorship NOT provided
