Senior Resident Engineer - Jacobs

Jacobs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Resident Engineer with a passion for architecture/developments and a commitment to our core values to join one of our major projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project is set to elevate Saudi Arabia's tourism industry by attracting discerning travelers from around the world seeking exclusive experiences, unrivaled luxury, and a deep connection with nature.

Key responsibilities:

1. Control the supervision of all related works of a Project as per the Contract.
2. Monitor the progress of the Contractor to ensure the overall objectives of the Contract are met.
3. Compilation of reports programs of work, financial forecasts, etc., relevant to a particular section of the contract assessed by the QS.
4. Ensure that the requirements of the Contract Documents and the proper administrative procedures are followed.
5. Manage the team members to optimize the use of resources and deployment.
6. Attend meetings on matters within the sphere of contractual activities.
7. Monitor progress of the particular section of the work to see whether reasonable progress is achieved and to ensure the work will be completed within the contract period.
8. Innovate, collaborate and challenge the accepted for optimized solutions and faster delivery plans.

Requirements:

• BS or MS degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Hands-on experience on Mega projects.
• Experience in the Middle East as a Senior Resident Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of construction management.
• Ability to motivate others and work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent client management skills.
• Internationally recognized professional registrations would be a plus.
