Job Description:
Job Title: Controls Design Engineer
Client: LTTS/ SOLAR TURBINES
Location: San Diego, CA/Peoria, IL
Skills: Controls Design, Promis-e, RS Logix, and HTML Editor
• Create or modify electrical schematics (ELS) for control system retrofits and upgrades in Promis-e.
• Create or modify project software(PLC & HMI) as required using Rockwell RSLogix 5000 and HTML Editor .
• Conduct and attend internal project review meetings (T2.5C).
• Complete CDE milestones assigned via System 42.
• Carry out CDE work in accordance with QMS Process Maps 8.3.1.15 (Retrofit/Refurb) and 8.3.1.12 (PSU) and all their corresponding Work Instructions.
5+ years of controls engineering experience
• Advanced skills in Promis.e and RSLogix
• Familiarity with QC/BIQ practices and RCC
