We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in programming, testing, and maintaining industrial automation systems. The role involves working closely with control engineers, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless plant operations through efficient automation systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) , primarily focusing on Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider platforms.
  • Create and maintain HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screens for real-time monitoring and control.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design, test, and deploy control system logic that aligns with operational requirements.
  • Ensure system integration with SCADA systems , data historians, and other plant automation tools.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for PLC hardware and software to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and optimize PLC network communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or Profibus).
  • Participate in control system commissioning and ensure system reliability during plant startups.
  • Maintain technical documentation , including wiring diagrams, control programs, and operational instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (ISA and IEC).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2-3 years of experience in PLC programming, with exposure to Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with HMI development tools like Wonderware or FactoryTalk View.
  • Strong knowledge of control system design and automation architecture.
  • Experience with troubleshooting PLC communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
  • Good understanding of SCADA systems and data historian integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced industrial environments with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
