We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer to work onsite for an opportunity paying up to $105K base plus benefits, based on experience, which is located in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will bring robust industry knowledge with a focus on civil infrastructure projects, specifically with a background in managing the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges. This role demands a keen understanding of FDOT regulations and standards to ensure project compliance and excellence.

Requirements of the Project Engineer:
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience, specifically with FDOT projects
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• PE license preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and civil engineering software
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with GIS and BIM software is a plus
Responsibilities of the Project Engineer:
• Oversee the design, planning, and execution of bridge and road construction projects
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all project specifications
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for multiple civil projects
• Conduct on-site inspections and project reviews to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Prepare reports and present project updates to stakeholders
• Support contract negotiations and manage subcontractor activities
• Support the team as needed
