QA Engineer

Results oriented Software QA Engineer with minimum 7 years total hands-on experience. Proven liaison and partnership skills to effectively manage client expectations along with accomplished communication, negotiation, and problem resolution skills. Innovative problem solver with hands-on testing experience and automating test cases. The candidate should also have the ability to see both the business and technical sides of the problem. Reengineered and facilitated key QA methodologies, processes and metrics standards resulting in increased quality of releases delivered to clients. Strong expertise in automation and backend testing. Strong analytical skills with solid technical experience in distributed development environments.

For Functional/Automation Engineer track
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

1. Proven experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Behavior Driven Development Strategies.
2. Strong expertise in designing and implementing automation tests using Java and Selenium.
3. Proficient in testing and automating REST APIs and Web Services.
4. Experience with In-Sprint Automation.
5. Experience working in an Agile development and continuous integration environment.
6. Capable of adapting to a rapidly evolving environment.
7. Expert at SQA methodologies, tools and approaches (manual and automated testing experience).
8. Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, SOAP/XML, SQL required.
9. Extensive knowledge of QA tools such as ALM, Jira and methodologies.
10. Extensive experience with cross-browser testing, compatibility testing, web services and mobile device testing.
11. Strong written and verbal communications skills.
12. Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
13. Strong people management, interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
14. Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team and with internal business and technology partners.
15. Experience and good understanding with Chrome Dev tools, UNIX command, Shell scripting, Eclipse, HTTP, HTTPS, Test Driven Development a plus.
16. 5 years working on SDLC compliant on-shore and off-shore team environment.
17. Experience building automated tests for Salesforce leveraging open source testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, etc.).
