Fire & Security Engineer - Northampton

We are recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Fire & Security Engineer with expert knowledge of installing and servicing security alarms, CCTV, and access control systems to join our team covering Northampton and surrounding areas.

As a Fire & Security Engineer with Clearway, you will be an integral part of our mission to ensure the utmost safety and security for our clients. You will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our clients' security infrastructure, from routine maintenance to troubleshooting system faults, delivering outstanding customer service to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting daily operational routines, including service and maintenance of security, CCTV, access control, and Fire systems.
• Participating in the on-call rotation.
• Addressing customer inquiries regarding security systems promptly.
• Coordinating site visits with customers based on their requirements.
• Field-based, covering multiple sites.
• Identifying opportunities for system additions in line with customer requirements.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Proven knowledge and experience of working with security alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Skilled in installation, servicing, and fault finding across security, CCTV, access control, and Fire systems.
• Knowledge of Fire systems/emergency lighting would be beneficial although training will be given.
• Capable of effectively communicating with customers to diagnose and resolve system faults.
• Work well independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• 2+ years’ experience of working within the Fire & Security sector.
• Hold a valid UK driving license.
