Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) delivers day-to-day services to Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS) Business Units and their clients. With IT & Operations teams working side by side under the same leadership, the goal of GBTO is to meet the evolving needs of its clients and market requirements, as well as anticipate technological advances to accelerate and support the transformation of GBIS activities. GBTO is at the very heart of this technological and operational challenge.
Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining our B2B platform front ends under the name "SG | MARKETS". These platforms include APIs directly accessible by our clients, as well as our "Client Intelligence" systems, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of our client-facing teams. SG Markets serves as a comprehensive electronic platform offering B2B services across pre-trade, execution, and post-trade stages, providing digital solutions for various markets such as financing, cash management, equipment finance, and securities.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborating in business and technical analysis of user stories with teammates and other teams.
- Developing and deploying software components that provide tangible business value.
- Ensuring proper testing of each component according to the team’s test strategy.
- Seeking optimal technologies and practices for solving problems in terms of security, scalability, maintainability, and user experience.
- Minimizing technical debts through software craftsmanship.
- Contributing to production releases, monitoring, and support.
- Investigating and resolving bugs.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of our solutions.
- Enhancing our continuous integration and continuous delivery processes in both pre-production and production environments.
- Engaging in code review sessions.
- Sharing best practices and technology knowledge with teammates.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Competencies:
- Focus on software craftsmanship and developing software to high quality standards.
- Good written & verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of programming design patterns.
- Rigorous experience in testing strategies, and ensuring regular, predictable releases with minimal disruptions.
- Hands-on experience in building and automating continuous integration pipelines like GitHub Actions.
- Experience with deploying and maintaining cloud-based web applications.
Technical Must Haves:
- Java REST API / SpringBoot.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL.
- Working in an Agile development team.
- Jenkins / GitHub Actions.
Technical Nice to Haves:
- Typescript, React, Angular.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud service architectures.
- Experience in performance tuning and code profiling.
Languages:
- French (nice to have).

COMPENSATION & SALARY RANGE:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
