About the Position
This position is responsible for providing support on projects by learning Goodyear systems and processes in cooperation with more experienced personnel. The incumbent seeks solutions to technical problems, conducts work on assigned tasks, and exhibits an entry type level of knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Implement products, processes, methods that meet internal and external customer requirements. Support evaluation of machinery, products, processes, methods and obtain results. Contribute to manufacture of quality products and processes.
- Communicate and solve problems by interpreting and analyzing data.
- Translate machinery and product needs to experimental data or design parameters.
- Work with teams and product groups to bring technology to market
- Obtain required training and skill development for position specific skills and personal development.
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 1+ years of experience required
- PLC Experience
- School project or activity involvement.
- Co-op/Squad experience desired.
- Basic understanding of science & technology in the appropriate discipline.
- Basic comprehension of statistical design & analysis; cause & effect analysis & risk analysis.
- Ability to carry out assignments in a logical fashion using existing technology & standardized methods.
- Understanding of technical drawings & procedures.
- Basic organization, communication & experimentation skills.
