You are:
A frontend/full-stack engineer that pays attention to details and will design/implement solutions using both legacy web 2.0 technologies and the latest cloud and cloud-native components. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to providing level 3 technical support to county users, designing and reviewing system user interfaces to meet the changes and requirements of the latest California Welfare policies. You will also collaborate with both clients, policy makers, and technical developers to form ideas and innovate practical solutions.
The Work:
As with all Application Development teams on the project, the Frontend Online Team is expected to work with the clients and provide innovative design solutions to meet the ever-changing California Welfare policy requirements. All members of the team are expected to be familiar with the latest web technologies and cyber security concepts. The engineers are also expected to know and follow project coding and security standards while implementing solutions.
- Work directly with client business analysts to analyze program policy changes
- Identify automation opportunities to aid county staff
- Document detailed designs that are clear to both client and development staff
- Present detailed system designs to client committees for approval
- Gain approval of design changes with Change Control Board
- Work with onshore and offshore development staff to implement system changes per approved design
- Directly implement system changes using Java, Operational Design Manager (ODM), and SQL Developer tools
- Leverage system knowledge to provide understanding and guidance to client and Accenture staff
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here’s What You Need:
- Minimum of 3 years of development/architecture experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with JSP, Java, JavaScript
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with SQL or other database query language
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with one or more of the following: Spring Boot or Spring Cloud
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with application design and development using React
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with modern DevOps tools, such as Git, GitHub, and/or Jenkins
- Minimum of 1 year of relational database design
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience
Bonus Points If:
- You have experience with Microservices, Functions, Event-driven/reactive programming or other Cloud Native architectures
- You have experience in developing high performing client-side applications
- You have experience deploying systems into a production Cloud Native Environment with major cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- You have experience in web-scale applications
- You have experience with DevOps and Agile engineering practices
- You have any Cloud certification
- You are familiar with OWASP Top 10 or NIST Rev 5
- You are familiar with the California Welfare programs
