A leading firm of consulting engineers, providing expert advice in transportation, water, environmental, infrastructure, and civils design. A collaborative team with offices in Hampshire and Kent, working on wide and varied commissions throughout the UK, both for private and public sector clients. The assignments we undertake range in size from small-scale, one-off tasks to large, multi-million-pound projects.
Job Summary
- As a Senior/Principal Engineer, you will provide technical design skills working in a team in the delivery of a range of projects, involving highways, civil, drainage, and flood alleviation schemes, ensuring accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients.
- The role will enable you to further develop your technical skills, applying your expertise to help us continue driving forward in both technical quality and service efficiency.
- Have full working knowledge of at least one of the following software packages: Microdrainage, PDS, Site 3D (or similar but not CIVILCAD), and Autocad.
- You will have a relevant degree or similar experience and ideally be professionally qualified, together with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- You will represent the Company at project meetings and public meetings. High commitment to thorough preparation and professional presentation.
- You will build and maintain good client relationships and maintain client confidence and attract new and repeat business.
- You will work well in a small team environment.
