AEM Developer

Capstone IT is partnering with one of the most recognized Best Places to Work in Kansas City, and is considered an industry leader in their vertical to provide an AEM Developer. As an AEM Developer with this client you will play a pivotal role in crafting innovative digital experiences. You'll work closely with our creative and marketing teams to develop, maintain, and optimize AEM-based websites and applications. This hybrid position offers a flexible work-life balance with three days of in-office collaboration and two days of remote work. This is a six month contract to hire and hybrid position that is based in Kansas City and will need to be onsite 3 days/Week.

Responsibilities:

• AEM Development: Design, develop, and maintain AEM-based websites and applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Code Management: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and project managers, to deliver high-quality projects.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest AEM technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development, including authoring, publishing, and template creation.
• Experience with Java, JSTL, and JSP.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of web services (REST, SOAP).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Previous experience working in an agency environment is a plus.
