Job Responsibilities:

• As a technical, hands-on Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), your job is to participate in the manual & automation testing of our mobile-based application. You will work under the guidance of a Principal SDET in a team with an established testing process. Your role will be that of a “full-stack” QA Engineer – someone with a strong appreciation and skill in software engineering capable of writing manual & automated and performance tests. Time and training are provided after hiring to learn our tech stack and frameworks.
• Our Tech Stack : Node.js, webdriver.io, Mocha, Chai, Cucumber, GitLab, Sauce Labs, Applitools, K6

Skills and Experience Required:

• 3+ years of professional experience as an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) working in an agile environment
• Required – strong JavaScript (JS) experience
• Will need to be comfortable coding in JavaScript and have current experience. If selected for an interview, you will be asked to perform ad hoc whiteboard coding exercises
• Solid development, test automation experience, and technical expertise with UI and API
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Thorough understanding of QA concepts, STLC, SDLC, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, REST APIs, JSON, RDBMS, XML/YAML, XCODE, ANDROID STUDIO
• Understands basic Test Automation principles
• Experience using testing frameworks relevant to their work (e.g., Jest, Mocha, JUnit, pytest)

Desired:

• Experience with React, Node, or GraphQL
• Demonstrated experience in automating tests using JS, Python, or other languages
