Job Requirements / Description

A growing firm located in the Greater Boston region is looking for a QA engineer. They are innovators in the security industry, leveraging technology for threat detection through an advanced scanning system. This role offers full-time employment with a hybrid work arrangement, involving occasional onsite work.


You will construct security products with a scanning component, working alongside developers. The ideal candidate has experience in automation and manual testing along with the capability to test hardware. In this position, you will be responsible for performing tests on new software releases, identifying and resolving bugs, and implementing thorough quality assurance procedures throughout the company.


Required Skills & Experience

  1. Playwright/JavaScript or Selenium/Java experience
  2. Mix of manual and automation software testing
  3. Experience with hardware testing
  4. Experience in security, safety, and/or government related roles

Desired Skills & Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other IT related field
  2. Database testing experience

  1. 25% Manual Software Testing
  2. 60% Automation Software Testing
  3. 15% Hardware Testing
