Description
The Quality Engineer (Electronics / Aerospace) will:
- Analyze and interpret customer quality and technical needs to ensure hardware and documentation meet expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Program Management, Engineering, Value Stream) to integrate customer requirements into processes and documentation.
- Serve as the key point of contact for customer quality inquiries, managing order status and warranty issues.
- Review quotations and orders, ensuring quality standards are communicated to all relevant teams.
- Flag any discrepancies in quotes or orders, and incorporate changes into contracts.
- Contribute to early-stage production activities, including readiness assessments.
Profile
Education and Experience:
- Our ideal Quality Engineer will come from a background in electronics and defense
- Preferred: Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years in Quality, Engineering, or Program Management.
- Experience in product development, new product introduction, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP, and web-based tools.
- Preferred: Oil & Gas experience, CQE, CQM, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of ISO or similar standards.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Able to manage shifting priorities and work independently.
- Must be local to Dover, NH - or open to relocating
