Position Title: C++ Developer – Image File Structure and DICOM
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled C++ Developer with specialized experience in image file structures and DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) coding to join our dynamic team in Santa Clara. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in C++ programming and a deep understanding of image file formats and DICOM standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- C++ Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications using C++.
- Image File Structures: Work with various image file structures, including but not limited to TIFF, PNG, JPEG, and others. Ensure efficient handling and processing of these files.
- DICOM Coding: Implement and maintain DICOM-related functionality, including encoding, decoding, and interpreting DICOM files. Ensure compliance with DICOM standards and protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to integrate imaging solutions into larger systems.
- Optimization: Analyze and optimize code for performance, memory usage, and scalability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, implementation, and usage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- C++ Programming: Strong proficiency in C++ with a proven track record of developing complex software applications.
- Image File Structures: In-depth knowledge of various image file formats and their structures.
- DICOM Expertise: Experience with DICOM standards, including familiarity with DICOM file formats, tags, and data encoding.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Medical Imaging Software: Background in developing or maintaining medical imaging software or applications.
- Knowledge of Related Standards: Familiarity with other imaging standards and protocols beyond DICOM.
- Advanced Degrees: Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
