About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with experience in Snowflake and MS SQL to design, develop, and optimize applications that enhance and automate key business processes. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate closely with project management and data architecture teams, focusing on re-engineering and refactoring existing code to improve simplicity, efficiency, and performance. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team and possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


What You’ll Do:

  • Application Development: Build and enhance applications to automate and streamline business processes, contributing to better decision-making and faster response times across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with internal business stakeholders, ranging from end-users to senior management, ensuring clear understanding and expectation-setting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess needs, propose solutions, and implement enhancements, while aligning with project goals and deadlines.
  • Software Design: Architect software solutions that are scalable, reliable, and performance-driven, with a focus on long-term maintainability.
  • Database Expertise: Utilize Snowflake and MS SQL databases for design, query optimization, and performance tuning, ensuring data integrity and high availability.
  • Refactoring & Optimization: Re-engineer and refactor existing code bases, making them more efficient, scalable, and high-performing while simplifying complex processes.
  • Best Practices: Drive improvements in software engineering practices, ensuring clean, efficient, and maintainable code across all projects.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • 6+ years of relevant development experience or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision but also thrives in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft .NET development (C#, Web Forms) using Visual Studio, with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, and Web Services.
  • Experience with Snowflake as a data platform, including data warehouse architecture, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Strong proficiency with MS SQL including database design, query optimization, normalization, and performance improvements.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot, think outside the box, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Re-engineering & Refactoring: Demonstrated experience in re-engineering and refactoring code to improve simplicity, efficiency, and overall performance.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple projects with excellent time management and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
  • Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation

Starting annual salary: $110,000-130,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
