Process Engineer

Job Title: Process EngineerJob DescriptionActalent is hiring for a Process Engineer focused on creating precise models using CATIA V5. Work closely with New Model Engineers to translate layout ideas into detailed technical drawings contributing to the manufacturing of world-class vehicles. Present information effectively through meetings and production floor walks. Ongoing basis activities: - Prepare layouts, create production equipment 3D models, and support areas within the manufacturing shop. - Manage and coordinate layout with various teams (internal/external) during project planning, launch, and execution. - Use CAD software to generate accurate 3D models in accordance with project specifications and factory requirements. - Collaborate with New Model team to understand project objectives and translate design concepts into technical models. - Revise and update existing 3D models as needed to incorporate process design changes or improvements. - Participate in internal/external meetings to optimize manufacturing processes and efficiency. - Maintain organized records of all CAD models, ensuring version control and accessibility. - Will use CATIA for the majority of the design/drafting work.Hard SkillsCATIA V5 ExperienceProcess layout studies experienceAutomated Equipment ExperienceJob TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 1 Year(s).Work SiteThis is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Marysville, Ohio and some days remote.Work EnvironmentR&D Environment but also a plant-based role, responsible for entering the plants.About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
