Job: Sr. Test Engineer

Location: Tulsa, OK

Company Summary: My client has been in operation for the last 175 years, and is looking to bring on an Electrical Engineer to join their team. Evolving from a hardware supply store during the Gold Rush to a key player in the aerospace industry, today, my client provides innovative manufacturing solutions for aerospace, defense, and industrial markets, specializing in electronic and structural systems. The Tulsa facility manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for aerospace and defense applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop test solutions, including specifications and implementations of low to medium complexity.
2. Engage in Design For Test (DFT), design, assembly, debugging, validation, deployment, and emergency support of electrical, mechanical, optical hardware, and software.
3. Work with electrical hardware such as GPIB, USB, and RS-232 controlled equipment, as well as PXI and LXI based test equipment.
4. Design custom circuitry for circuit boards and cables, and manage mechanical hardware setups including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) chamber racks and automated high-throughput fixtures.
5. Utilize software tools such as LabWindows/CVI, LabView, TestStand, C#, ANSI C, and Visual C++ for test development.
6. Manage complex project aspects and adhere to team member requirements.
7. Develop test solution quotes, including price and schedule commitments, hardware/software documentation, and validation criteria.
8. Utilize quote tools to complete submissions on schedule.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE, BSEET) or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) required.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a test development environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Proficient in manufacturing test strategies and experienced in structural and functional testing.
4. Hands-on knowledge in a test development setting, with an understanding of relevant industry standards.
5. Ability to provide innovative manufacturing test solutions and represent Test Development to external customers and peers.
6. Commitment to continuous improvement in deployable test technologies.

Compensation expectation: Salary based on experience and qualifications: $80,000-$100,000 Full benefits package offered.
