L3Harris has approximately $18 billion in annual revenue and 47,000 employees, with customers in more than 100 countries.Job Description:L3Harris is seeking a Lead, Systems Engineering - RC-135 Computer Support Administrator (CSA) for our location at Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan supporting the US Air Force.Essential Functions:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leads/Provides support for all RC-135 operational and ground training missions by preparing and recovering mission software loads and overseeing network interactionConducts recoveries of all missions by extracting critical data for customer useProvides Ground Data Processing System (GDPS) operations support, data import/export operations and mission data archivingAssists with GDPS hardware and software malfunction isolation, and configuration for special operations modes and testing as requiredManages GDPS/Network daily operations and make recommendations to correct system anomaliesResponsible for GDPS database and software configuration control, and login/password security controlsQualifications:Active Top Secret/SCI Security ClearancePass a polygraph within the first yearObtain and maintain a COMPTIA Security+ certification within the first yearHigh School Diploma with a minimum of 13 years of relevant experienceOR Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 11 years of relevant experienceOR Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experienceOR Master’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experienceMinimum of 4 years’ experience operating/sustaining/supporting RC-135 aircraft and/or ground mission systemsThorough understanding of network operations/sustainmentMust be worldwide deployable with the ability to travel up to 20% and able to work various shifts and weekends as needed.Physical Requirements:Ability to move up to 50 lbs. up to 5% of the timeAscends/descends ladders up to 5% of the timePreferred Additional Skills:Programming experience with Linux shell scripting, MySql, PHP, Perl, Java and HTMLCurrently RC-135 CSA qualified or previously qualified in the last 5 yearsCompTIA Network+, Security+ and/or Networking certificationFamiliarity with LINUX and UNIX-based operating systems and Oracle databasesL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
