• Work in a team to help develop solutions that improve the developer experience across our bank while improving risk posture.
• Enhance an instrumented secure build chain that gathers and centralizes build information firm-wide to make automated, policy-based decisions – providing automated governance of software development processes at UBS.
• Help lead and mentor a growing team of software engineers in Weehawken, NJ.
• Be an agent of change by engaging and partnering with stakeholders across multiple lines of business.

Your expertise

• Ideally 8+ years of software engineering or related IT experience along with experience as a tech lead or team lead, managing and/or mentoring others.
• Proficiency with Golang, Kubernetes, MS Azure, Git, continuous integration, Linux and experience developing microservices, APIs, distributed systems.
• Ability to work with Postgres, Redis and test automation.
• Experience with Grafeas and working in Agile teams is a plus.
• Understanding of security and regulatory concerns common in banking environments, particularly regarding the software supply chain is a plus.
