RF Signatures Engineer- Entry-Level (Job ID: 3604)

• Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a RF Signatures Engineer- Entry-Level in Dahlgren, VA.

• Carry out computational electromagnetic simulations in high performance computing (HPC) environments, performing analysis on the resulting dataset.
• Use internally developed tools and processes to represent datasets as highly compressed numerical models for use in real-time Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) simulations.
• Contribute to technical reviews and customer briefings.
• Documentation and presentation of work to internal and external customers.
• Perform research and augment toolsets to enhance modeling techniques and improve current processes.

• Must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in physics, applied mathematics, data science, engineering, or related field.
  • Must possess a mathematical background in linear algebra, differential equations, complex analysis, numerical methods, and statistics.
  • Must have familiarity with electromagnetic theory, quantum mechanics, and fluid dynamics.
• Must possess at least 0 to 5 years of work experience.
• Must possess intermediate proficiency in MATLAB, Python, R, C/C++, or similar coding language for data analysis, algorithm development, and model implementation.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess strong presentation skills.

• Active US DoD SECRET (or higher) is preferred.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience are preferred.
• A Masters or PhD in physics, applied mathematics, data science, or engineering with relevant project experience is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MATLAB, Python, R, C/C++, or similar coding language for data analysis, algorithm development, and model implementation is preferred.
• Familiarity with software version control and issue tracking is preferred.

• Must have an Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance.

• Less than 10%.
• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.

• Must be able to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard environment.
• Be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one-man lift.
• Must be able to perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.
