Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Senior Cyber/Network Systems Engineer to support Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/BC) portfolio. The position is available in Colorado Springs, CO.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Support enterprise integration and modernization of tactical level Command, Control & Communications (C3) capabilities to transform satellite operations and improve resiliency.
  2. Perform space acquisitions, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance for all projects and programs, as required, to support any stage of the acquisition life cycle.
  3. Manage any program Authority to Operate, Authority to Test, and/or Authority to Connect.
  4. Support cyber testing and assessment activities.
  5. Review and assess contractor designs and conduct trade studies on alternative system design approaches and/or improvements to cybersecurity posture.
  6. Participate or lead technical meetings and government-led studies, assess technical baselines and ensure system modifications meet requirements.

Qualifications Required (Skills):

  • MS/MA with more than 10 years of experience.
  • Knowledgeable in managing technical developmental projects with an emphasis placed on network development projects, network architecture, integrating cyber efforts, systems engineering, requirements development, software engineering, and algorithms.
  • Knowledgeable in systems engineering, technology development, government acquisitions, and space and intelligence systems.
  • Knowledgeable in interfacing with the cyber and DoD intelligence community.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills.
  • Must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers.
  • IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.).
  • MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.

Qualifications Desired:

  • Master's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
