Position Purpose: The Manufacturing Engineer Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining a manufacturing engineering team at Blue Canyon Technologies.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $125,000 - $235,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of manufacturing engineers
  • Develop, maintain, and execute career paths for direct reports
  • Work with leadership to set and assess priorities across the team
  • Ownership of yearly performance reviews for direct reports
  • Champion team objectives to achieve business success
  • Guide team in process improvement and individual projects to reduce cost and improve efficiency
  • Work with PMs, product leads and other cross functional leadership to assess and staff the group appropriately
  • May include personnel management responsibilities
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
  • 7-10 years related experience
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Aerospace or similar field (medical or semi-con) preferred.
  • Experience in leadership team in resolving complex issues preferred.
  • Understanding of configuration management best practices preferred.
  • Experience with MRP systems preferred.
  • Experience with MES systems preferred.
  • Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.  BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
