Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled full-stack software engineer with extensive experience in software development, object-oriented programming, data modeling, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust micro-service applications while also managing data architecture and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable micro-service applications from conception to deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement data models that enable analytics solutions
- Contribute to the development of data lakes and data warehouses to support data transformation and business intelligence application goals
- Create and optimize data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through best practices in software development and data management
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best practices in coding and data management
- Maintain documentation for data models, application architecture, and development processes
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development with proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js)
- Strong experience with data modeling techniques and tools
- Familiarity with data lakes and data warehouse architectures
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with analytics tools and frameworks
- Professional working knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Professional working experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop abstract, non-customer specific solutions that scale
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
