We're looking for a strong software engineer with experience working in design systems, UI development and prototyping to help us build the best in-class workspace for data visualization and exploration.
About the Role:
- Have a huge impact on the quality and craft of our product
- Work closely with our product designers to understand UI/UX patterns and implement them across our applications.
- Work directly with customers to learn their needs
Responsibilities:
- Build UI components and designs for our lollipop design system, electron app and data visualization.
- Own the UI component development and set overall architecture, API, and define coding and reviewing standards.
- Design and implement well-tested code, both independently and with teammates.
- Continuously learn and evaluate new UI/Visualization technology & frameworks and apply them to the applications.
- Ability to develop high fidelity prototype and wireframes.
- Demo progress on results.
- Provide third-level support to business users.
- Research and evaluate a variety of software products.
- Participate in review of solution designs, code review etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid experience in implementing Visualization, Web application using HTML5, CSS3, Compass, WebGL and JavaScript.
- Experience in implementing mockups from designers/style guides (Using Figma, etc.).
- Solid experience in modern web frameworks such as Node.js, ReactJS.
- Experience with D3 or data visualization libraries.
- Strong knowledge of CSS.
- Web Standards and Accessibility Best Practices.
- Adaptable Design Principles and experience writing CSS media queries.
- Ability to express well-thought-out opinions about product.
- Familiar with continuous integration and deployment concepts.
