Description
- Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is currently seeking a qualified Senior Developer to join our team in support of a new long-term project. This is a fully remote role, and the duties and responsibilities for this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Working within Agile SDLC framework to include performing work activity within two- to three-week sprints, participating in daily scrums, and utilizing sprint tracking software to track and communicate individual work activity to stakeholders.
- Developing secure and reliable and resilient set of software applications and/or services whether refactoring or re-hosting existing applications or developing new applications at the Government's request.
- Assisting in designing and developing System Architectures and secure, reliable, and resilient software applications/services.
Requirements
- Candidate must be a US Citizen
- Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain common access card (CAC)
- Candidate must possess an active Security+ certification or other applicable 8570 IAT Level II Certification
- Candidate must possess 10+ years' experience with the following:
- System/software design and development.
- Git and version control management.
- Fluent in some or all the following languages: Unix Shell Scripting, GNU Make, PowerShell, SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins DSL, JSON, YAML, HCL, GO.
- Familiarity with some or all the following automation/orchestration tools: Jenkins, Terraform, Packer, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, Artifactory.
Preferred Requirements (Not Required)
- Experience working within the Agile SDLC Framework
- Experience leading and managing a dispersed, remote team
- Experience with US Air Force IT Projects
