Quality Lead - CNC Cutting Tools

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Department Leader to develop our quality department and truly take us to the next level. A hands-on leader that can implement policy and procedure with a strong background in CNC Cutting Tools and Job Shop environments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the quality department and ensure compliance with company quality policies and procedures.
• Tool Calibration experience. Capable of using calibration software (GageTrak).
• Develop and maintain quality inspection procedures, including the use of vision inspection systems and micrometers.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that quality requirements are integrated into all aspects of product development and manufacturing.
• Train and develop quality team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their roles effectively.
• Develop and maintain quality records and documentation.
• Implement a quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO 13485.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stay on task and be self-motivated.
• Proven experience in a quality management role, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality inspection principles and practices.
• Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 13485.
• Experience in Cutting Tools preferred.
• Ability to analyze quality data and implement improvements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with vision inspection systems and micrometers, surface plates, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
