The Job:

Responsible for ensuring the success of show and event productions by performing the technical aspects related to the show(s) production. Assist in all aspects of stage operations and on-site A/V operations while providing excellent professional service.

Essential Functions:

  1. Performs the Load-in & Out of band equipment and rental equipment.
  2. Set Up and Break down of Band and Event Equipment.
  3. Cabling and patching / working together with the entire crew as a team.
  4. Audio adjustments, maintaining safe audio levels while providing a professional mix.
  5. Audio Control Boards operation.
  6. Oversee visiting audio techs, especially during shows.
  7. Responsible for protecting, maintaining, and repairing audio equipment.
  8. Assist with production throughout the House as needed.
  9. Assist the Production Manager with the technical advance with Artists' representatives.
  10. Ensure proper care and handling of all House of Blues and rental audio equipment.
  11. Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show.
  12. Distribute or create audio plans.
  13. Oversee and operate systems pertaining to audio throughout the entire venue.
  14. Ensure special events audio needs are scheduled and executed with the utmost professional attitude.
  15. Maintain a relationship with local & national audio vendors.
  16. May assist the Stage Manager with show passes.
  17. Assist lighting crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
  18. Assist with any special events operations.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 3 years minimum Tour and Stage Production experience.
  2. Experience in pro audio systems, stage lighting, and basic video systems.
  3. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Proficiency with all Microsoft applications.
  5. Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  6. High School Diploma.

Preferred:

  1. College Degree.

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  1. Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
  2. Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level.
