We have an exciting opportunity for an up-and-coming accounting leader at a high growth oil and gas company in Dallas. This business is projected to double in size over the next few years, as it deploys capital globally, and this is a phenomenal opportunity to get in at ground level as part of the initial buildout of the accounting team and function.
Reporting to the Controller, with a dotted line to the entity finance lead, you'll play a key role in implementing and scaling all accounting and reporting processes, supporting the monthly close process and audit activities, and providing senior leaders with insights into the financials. This is a high exposure role that will expand along with the business.
Compensation (can potentially go above the listed range) and benefits are excellent and you'll be based in office 5 days a week.
About you:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA required
- Public accounting background preferred
- Oil and gas or adjacent industry experience preferred
- Must be a self-starter who can execute on a small team and build relationships around the business proactively
