Job Description:


Implement multi-modal interaction algorithms and functional applications for digital cockpits, including but not limited to directions such as ECNR, NLP, and CV. Pre-research and explore cutting-edge technologies in the EV digital cockpit industry, such as End-to-end, all-in-one (NLP, Audio, CV) large models, and conduct sufficient feasibility verification for their application in digital cockpit scenarios. Exploration and implementation of the core algorithms of large language models, develop the base of the LLM at the NIO for optimization and application by various businesses of the NIO. Experiment with the application paradigm of large model agents in the digital cockpit scenarios and assist in the research and development of large-scale landing tools.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Experience on developing/optimizing/training large language models (LLMs), or large computer vision models, or generative AI models.
  • Software engineering skills in Python and general purpose system admin and infrastructure management abilities.
  • History of applied research in neural network model optimization or training or a related area application.
  • Proven track record to drive scientific investigations and experiments and overcome obstacles and uncertainty in a research environment.
  • BS degree and 3+ years of proven experience.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Publication record at top AI/ML venues.
  • Experience with network optimization algorithms, e.g. quantization and compression, sparsification, knowledge distillation, or NAS.
  • Experience with languages such as C/C++, Java, Go, Swift, Rust, or Obj-C.
  • Infrastructure management and debugging experience.
  • Experimental rigor when training/evaluating DNNs for the purpose of benchmarking neural network optimization algorithms.
  • Strong communication and accountability skills; hard-working, strong work ethic, and collaboration abilities.
  • PHD in related field.


Compensation:


  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000 - $220,000.
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
  • Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include discretionary bonus, equity, or benefits.
