What You Will Be Doing:
In this role you will assist with the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of intelligent transportation systems such as traveler information systems, advanced traffic management systems, transit technologies, wireless and fiber optic networks, and connected and automated vehicles. Typical responsibilities include: preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates; data analysis; technical writing; field inspections; integration and troubleshooting; and collaboration with internal staff.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- 4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including ITS experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and CADD applications (Open Roads Designer / MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.)
- Interest in intelligent transportation systems, connected and automated vehicles, and other technology applications
- Strong technical writing skills
- Willingness to learn new concepts and emerging technologies
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 depending on years of experience and credentials.
Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
