Job Role: Mobile Plant Engineer
Location: Heathrow, Middlesex
Salary: £35,000-£38,000 base salary (OTE £45,000-£55,000)
Hours: Monday-Friday 07.00-16.30 + Company Vehicle/Fuel Card + Overtime @ 1.5x

The Client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, who have been established for over 50 years, are looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive or Agricultural background. They offer a comprehensive training scheme alongside internal progression routes.
The Package:
- 22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall)
- All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.5x (£25-£28 per hour)
- A minimum of 5 hours of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours) Min (5 hours): Additional £6,500pa / Average (17 hours): Additional £22,100pa
- Salary Sacrifice Scheme for an addition 5 days annual leave per annum
- Laptop, Company Vehicle & Fuel Card
- Full training & development with a focus on internal progression, route is as follows: (Workshop/Mobile Engineer > Lead Engineer > Hiring Manager > Site Manager > Regional Manager)

The Responsibilities:
- Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
- Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.
- Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.
The Requirements:
- Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential)
- Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
- Experience working on engines would be advantageous
- Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
- A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own
- Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Full UK Drivers License
