Our client is one of leading architecture and engineering firms in Southwest Virginia. They have asked our assistance to find a Mechanical Project Engineer.
This position will be responsible for the design of HVAC systems for our various project types, including educational, civic, arts and commercial buildings.
Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment collaborating with peers as well as managing/mentoring people are important attributes (this will lead a team of three). Depending on your skills and experience, the potential to lead our mechanical and plumbing team exists here as well.
One key requirement is that you must be a licensed Mechanical Engineer; PE is required .
Nice to have background attributes would include having 7-10 years of mechanical experience, proficiency in design load calculation and energy modeling programs (like Trace and ComCheck)
Experience with REVIT would be a big plus.
