Responsibilities of the Applications Engineer - Service include, but are not limited to:
- Provide customer service, sales, & technical support to sales team & customers
- Promote & encourage "Profit Management" to ensure a profitable future for the company
- Understand & implement policy to achieve both customer & company goals
- Work closely with sales, shop personnel & vendors to facilitate the sales effort & meet customer requirements
- Evaluate customer bid requirements, specifications, & other pertinent data
- Prepare proposals using vendor software, sales catalogs & cost estimates according to technical and performance requirements
- Generate engineered repair proposals
- Facilitate prompt remedy of customer technical problems, complaints & failures
- Maintain organization of order files, monitor in-house orders & assist sales & fabrication with project related questions
Qualifications of the Applications Engineer - Service include, but are not limited to:
- Preferred knowledge of centrifugal pumps and other fluid handling equipment
- Must be able to work independently to achieve targeted results
- Well-organized & self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills
- Effective negotiating skills
- Project management experience and teamwork skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Training/Certifications: Any related to pumps, air compressors, motors, couplings, mechanical seals knowledge
Shift Time/Overtime: Not required
Travel: None
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related experience
