The candidate will interface with clients and inventors at all stages of the patent process. Will prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications in the United States and abroad. Conducts freedom-to-operate, infringement, and patentability analyses. Assists in other responsibilities or projects, as requested or needed. Should have a degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field of study. Demonstrated understanding of machine learning, molecular biology, and sequencing technology is required. Familiarity with gene editing, immunology, microscopy, and systems biology is a plus.
