Sr/Process Engineer

Our client, a global Tier 1 automotive supplier specializing in glass products, is searching for a Process Engineer to join their growing team in Farmington Hills, MI.

Responsibilities
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, validating, and implementing new manufacturing process technology innovation:

• Secure machine KPI improvement for reduced cost
• Introduce new manufacturing process capability
• Ensure sufficient process capacity
• Recommend alternative design solutions as needed
• Support the development of process flow, equipment, tooling, and check fixture designs
• Travel 20-50%, primarily within the North American region
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related technical field
• 3+ years as an engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Application of closed-loop process control enablers
• Proficiency in project management principles
• PLC and robot programming
