The Engineering coordinator is responsible assisting the Director of Engineering with a variety of administrative functions

Job Description
The Engineering coordinator is responsible assisting the Director of Engineering with a variety of administrative functions
- Create POs and order materials for Engineering department
- Post schedules every two weeks for Engineers
- Call in Vendors for 3rd party work
- Work with DOE to maintain all life safety and health related documents
- Manage and keep Alice system up to date and current for Engineering department
- Maintain records, files and ledger to provide ready access to purchasing information and status of same.
- Maintain a follow up system for materials ordered
- Track departmental expenses
- Process invoices for purchased items, contract labor and service calls.
- Other administrative items determined by Director of Engineering
- Actively participate in energy conservation programs.
- Review all guest and meeting planner comment cards to ensure problems are identified and corrected in a timely manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic accounting skills
- Familiarity with and knowledge of employment laws are helpful
- Holding a valid U.S. work authorization
