Staff Artificial Intelligence Engineer

My client is looking for their next Staff AI Engineer who would be working on Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI technologies for the organization. This would be working in a dedicated team focusing on solving some of the biggest challenges in technology today. They work with their chosen customers to iterate quickly and consistently deliver high-impact solutions in a product focussed environment.

About the Role:

• Design and optimize cutting-edge Large Language Models, focusing on maximizing performance and precision.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of LLMs to evaluate their efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Apply advanced technologies like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), function calling, and code interpreters to expand LLM capabilities.
• Keep up with the latest innovations in machine learning, with an emphasis on LLMs, agents, and large-scale neural network developments.
• Implement parallel training strategies to manage large-scale models efficiently.
• Lead extensive training operations on GPU clusters, ensuring optimal resource management.
• Partner with machine learning engineers, data scientists, and product teams, offering mentorship and expert guidance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related fields preferred, with a focus on machine learning and natural language processing.

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive experience with Python and proficiency in leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong knowledge of parallel training methods and GPU cluster management for large-scale model training.
