Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Our client is one of the leading multidisciplinary engineering companies in the world, who are looking to expand their flagship office in Orlando. They are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to grow out and lead their own team, providing geotechnical engineering services to both commercial and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute a range of geotechnical projects, from conventional geotechnical and CMT work to advanced geotechnical engineering (e.g. seismic analyses, hillside design, bridges).
• Oversea geotechnical projects, from engineering analysis to field exploration and laboratory services.
• Grow out and manage your own team of geotechnical engineers, mentoring more junior staff.
• Engage in business development activities, ensuring that commitment to clients are met.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of Geotechnical Engineering experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida.
• Experience in public works, seismic risk analysis and soil structure analysis is preferred.
• Experience with software such as CAD, MathCAD, gINT, LPile, SlopeW is preferred.
